The DS-XM101 provides four Intel i226 Ethernet ports operating with BASE-T transformer-coupled interfaces. The Intel Ethernet Controller i226 also supports the latest time sensitive networking (TSN) features, along with best in class power management and Operating System Support. Each controller is connected to a PCI Express switch providing 4 lanes of GEN 2 capable connections to the host. Each controller is serviced by a 1-lane GEN1 PCIe connection, providing ample bandwidth for operation up to 2.5-Gb/s Ethernet speeds.
The air-cooled XMC has four RJ45 ports available at the front panel. The conduction-cooled version has four ports of transformer coupled rear I/O available at P16, and no front panel.
